The Cornish Way, the best way to see this is on a bicycle!  At Benson's we have secure storage if you bring your own cycles, but you can also hire them from Bissoe Tramways who offer a delivery service.  Please ask us for more details.

The Mineral Tramways trail network offers the chance to walk, horse ride or cycle through the remarkable remains of this area's 19th century mining heyday. 

If you enjoy gardens, then a visit to Trelissick (NT) just outside Truro and the glorious sub-tropical gardens of Trebah which has its own beach near Falmouth are a must!

The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are within a short drive of Benson's.

Falmouth Maritime Museum, a nautical in-depth view of our seafaring history.

Gwennap Pit is an open air ampitheatre where John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, preached between 1762 and 1789.

Benson's is within easy reach of many beautiful beaches leaving you spoilt for choice whether you are looking to  chill on the beach, swim in the sea, or be more energetic and enjoy the exhilaration of surfing. 

There are a number of pubs nearby which serve good food.  We have sample menus in Benson's  to help whet your appetite.

Family Genes: for those of you keen on researching your Cornish roots, Redruth is home to the Cornwall Centre and nearby Helston has a Latter Day Saints research library.
